Mr. Capone is an accomplished life sciences CEO with almost 40 years of experience in molecular diagnostics, genetics, biotechnology, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. He has extensive public and private board experience with small- to mid-cap private and public companies, trade associations, academic institutions, and nonprofits, specializing in growth and transformation of organizations.

Prior to joining Myriad Genetics, Mr. Capone served in a variety of roles during a 17-year career with Eli Lilly and Company including sales director, plant manager, R&D team leader, and biochemical engineer. He received his Master of Science degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, a Master of Science degree in (bio)chemical engineering from MIT, and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Penn State, graduating with highest distinction.
